How to Save Snapchat Videos Easily: 3 Different Ways

Snapchat calls itself the fastest way to share moments and in this post, we’re going to quickly go over how to save snapchat videos or one of those moments.

Snapchat is a well known social media app that enables you to share transitory videos and photos. The found creators of Snapchat say that media shared on their app is ephemeral to inspire the natural flow of synergy.

Nevertheless, Snapchat users have always wished to save photos and videos from their friends; it doesn’t help that taking a screenshot will inform the sender. And who wants to hold a phone and record their friends snap?

Certainly, the video quality will likely be low, and you’ll perhaps be shaking the whole time.

Snapchat makes it very easy to download the videos you upload to the app. Here’s how to save Snapchat videos, three different ways.

1. Download Before You Share

This is the most common feature for saving snapchat videos before anything else.

After you’ve recorded a video in the app to share with a friend or your story, tap the downwards-pointing arrow button that crops up in the lower left of the screen.

(It’s to the right of the volume/mute button.) A “Saved!” message should appear onscreen once it’s been saved to your Camera Roll. You can really save your video whether or not you decide to share it more widely on the Snapchat app.

2. Use Memories

On the other hand, you can head to the Memories part of the app, which you can access by tapping the icon below the compose button on the main screen.

At this point, you can see a collection of all your earlier saved Snaps and import other saved Snaps from your Camera Roll.

3. Download After You Share

If you forgot to click that save button as you were composing your Snap, no problem. You can save Snapchat videos after the fact as well. If you shared it as a Story, you can go to your profile by tapping in the upper left of the main compose screen.

Then, just tap the download button to the right of “My Story.” If you’ve posted many videos, you can simply download the one video you’re excited about saving, instead of the whole thing.

If you tap My Story, then hit the three-dot icon in the upper right, you also get the similar download button in the lower left as you would on the compose screen.

You can tap this button to download a specific snap, as well. If you’re into apps then check out the stream app, with it you can stream YouTube music on your phone while doing other things.
