The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 is one of Xiaomi’s best device originating from the sub-brand called Redmi.
The Redmi Note 7 is an amazing smartphone with a 6.2″ FHD futuristic tear-drop display with multiple ram variants 3,32GB ROM / 4,64GB ROM / 6,128GB ROM where the first figure in the three variants is the RAM sizes.
Specifications apart, the Redmi Note 7 is one of the best mid-range devices out there in the market with jaw-dropping features, decent camera setup and the right amount of battery to get you through a full day usage.
The Redmi Note 7
Just like every other Xiaomi Redmi device, the Redmi Note 7 spots MIUI, Xiaomi’s custom Android UI which comes bundled with a ton of useful features and feel.
One of those features is the ability to use the full-screen display banishing the navigation icons and using screen gestures identical to the iPhone X and the XS max.
This feature is not only available for the Xiaomi redmi note 7 users, if you use any Xiaomi device and are currently running on the latest MIUI version, chances are that you already have this feature available on your settings options, you just have to activate, practice and get used to using the gestures to control your phone.
For the sake of this tutorial, we’ll stick to switching to full-screen gestures on the Xiaomi redmi note 7, let’s begin.
How to Activate Full-Screen Gestures On The Xiaomi Redmi Note 7
This is quite simple to do and figure out, the thing is getting used to using the feature and quick one, once you get used to it, it’s going to be pretty hard to switch back to using normal navigation buttons on your phone or other phones really.
Not cause the process is gruesome, it’s actually super easy, just tap on and off. It’s getting used to using the gestures that rocks.
Start By Going to Settings
Let’s start by accessing your settings and scrolling to down to Full-Screen Display, that’s where the change begins.
It’s visibly easy all the way from there anyway with the tutorials on how to use the full-screen gestures displayed there already but it takes a while before you can adopt the use, the better if you’re coming from a device like the iPhone X.
Tap The Option And Learn The Gestures
It’s pretty straightforward from here.
Two options then you get to select full-screen gestures. You may then scroll down to select each gesture to see how they work. They’re very easy to work with and gives you more screen real estate.
This is what the options should look like on your Redmi device.
And that’s it, you’re done. Have fun with with the gestures. Remember, it takes a while to get used to them so give it a while to determine if it’s good for you or not 🙂
